A History of Pioneer Ski Patrol

Pioneer Ski Patrol was originally a Nordic and Alpine service patrol that started in the Mat-Su Valley area of Alaska in 1997. It was initially affiliated with Hatcher Pass, Crevasse Moraine, Alpenglow, and Hilltop ski areas. Today, Pioneer Ski Patrol is the official Ski Patrol of Skeetawk Ski Area in Palmer, AK. Our team is made up of highly trained and experienced patrollers who are dedicated to providing the highest level of safety and assistance to all visitors of the ski area.
